We have started this blog to document for ourselves our biggest project – building our own home. Before deciding to take the plunge, we did a lot of research online and could not find as much transparent information on someone building there own kit home. We thought maybe we could help and inspire others with our journey.

Organising Power Supply
We've recently installed power for our build (yay!). Here is all of the information I've learnt through this process from dealing with Wester Power through to the electrical scope of work.
Building Envelope Variation
We had to do this as our land had an allocated "building envelope" that we wanted to extend. This taught us a lot about dealing with the council and BAL ratings.
